Our binding workshop is focused on Zip-Wire binding services of works such as all kinds of calendars, notebooks, atlases, etc. We are able to cut, collate and bind up to 30.000 of multipage wall calendars and up to 25.000 desk calendars per one working day. 2. What means the statement pitch 3:1 and pitch 2:1?
Zip-Wire pitch 3:1 means that three loops of the spiral are used on the distance of 1”.
Zip-Wire pitch 2:1 means that two loops of the spiral are used on the distance of 1”.

3. What is the maximum thickness of paper block that can be bound using Zip-Wire in pitch 3:1?
9/16” is the biggest Zip-Wire spiral in the pitch 3:1. It allows to bind paper block 12,7 mm thick.

4. What is the maximum paper block thickness that can be bound using Zip-Wire in pitch 2:1?
1 ,1/4” is the biggest Zip-Wire spiral on the market. It allows to bind paper block 26,0 mm thick.

5. What is the margin necessary for paper punching?
In case of Zip-Wire in pitch 3:1 a space taken by punching equals to 8 mm.
In case of Zip-Wire in pitch 2:1 a space taken by punching equals to 10 mm.

6. What is the maximum calendar thickness that can be bound with a calendar hanger?
The Zip-Wire 5/16 is the biggest spiral that can be used with a calendar hanger. The maximum binding thickness for 5/16” is 6,5 mm.

7. What kind of perforation holes are available?
In case of Zip-Wire binding a square or round holes can be used with all Zip-Wire diameters.

8. What kind of materials can be bound using Zip-Wire spirals?
Expect paper we can also bind cardboard and PVC film. But the maximum thickness of a single sheet cannot exceed 3 mm.
